203.00 DAILY WORK SCHEDULE I. Scope This standard regulates the daily activities of personnel assigned to fire station duty. II. Daily Schedule A. The following tasks shall be performed every shift as incident volume and weather permit:
Daily Activities: 1. Shift change, roll call, raises the flags, and announcements. 2. Check of Vehicle Radios, Portable Radios, Air Pac Radios, Intercom Systems. 3. All equipment associated with the apparatus is to be inspected and checked as needed. 4. Properly sign off vehicle check forms, noting any problems with equipment or apparatus. 5. Check apparatus repair order forms for any repairs that are needed. 6. Inspect grounds and trash areas for paper. Wash ramps, sidewalks as necessary. 7. All floors are to be dust mopped, and then wet mopped. Any carpet areas are to be vacuumed. 8. Kitchen counters are to be free from all soda bottles, food and other items except during normal meal hours. 9. Inventory supplies. 10. All vehicles will be cleaned; this includes all ladders, axes, pike poles and dirty hose. 11. Dust cabs of apparatus, including floors. Remove any trash or unnecessary items from the cab. 12. Disinfect all bathroom fixtures including commodes and urinals. Disinfect shower stalls. 13. Lower flag at appropriate time or during appropriate weather conditions.

The company officer shall be responsible for ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed each shift if incident volume and weather permit. |
